See 1958 quote.
- 1868  After sitting some eighteen days in Quebec, the result of their deliberations was the famous "Seventy-two Resolutions," which in accordance with the final resolution, were authenticated by the signatures of the Delegates, and were ordered to be submitted by each delegation to its own government.
- 1958  The main work of the [Quebec] conference was embodied in the Seventy-Two Resolutions that were drawn up as an outline for the proposed federal union. These later became the basis of negotiations at the London Conference in 1866-67 and eventually formed the core of the BNA Act.
